Latitude, Inc. Cleared Systems Engineer in Aberdeen, Maryland
We are seeking a Cleared Systems Engineer for a long term project at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. The contractor must have an active DoD clearance.
Position Description:
The Systems Engineer will:
Provide on-site engineering and acquisition support to the Program Executive Office (PEO)
Manage engineering efforts of the OEM including cost, schedule and performance
Derive requirements from operational needs
Decompose requirements from operational to functional and system level (performance specification)
Review test results to ensure traceability to operational needs
Analyze live SIGNIT and IMINT to determine performance and applicability to CONOPS
Document capability gaps and system shortfalls to identify enhancements and ECPs
Perform engineering analyses of program and product to include trade off analysis, SWAP analysis and analysis of alternatives
Interact directly with government leadership, military customer and commercial vendor
Develop agendas and meeting minutes
Deliver Monthly Status Report (MSR) to contractor
Basic Qualifications:
Secret Security Clearance
Basic knowledge of SIGINT systems
Basic knowledge anti-tamper (AT), electronic protection (EP) and electronic warfare (EW) systems
Basic knowledge of unmanned aerial systems (UAS)/drones
Basis knowledge of the D0DI 5000.2
Ability to be on-site at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD
Ability to travel on occasion to OEM facilities, test centers and military installations
Familiarity with basic corporate tools, to include but not limited to MS Office and Adobe Acrobat
Current or past experience working for a PEO, PdM or PM
Desired Qualifications:
Active DoD Clearance
Past work with SIGINT PM office or OEM
Past military or intelligence experience especially if deployed in CENTCOM, AFRICOM or PACOM
Past work with mobile device surveillance and geolocation through SIGINT
