Job Description
CACI is seeking a cleared Logistics Specialist II - Property at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role will be in support of CERDEC Headquarters and subordinate directorates. You will be working on a government site with the customer and associated contractors as part of the CERDEC Equipment Management Team to include hazardous waste management, environmental safety & occupational health management. What You’ll Get to Do:
Perform supply and warehousing activities that include requisition, receipt, control, storage, inventory, issuing, and delivery of all equipment and material support at a specific facility
Conduct stock item research issues parts/materials and monitors item usage and quantity levels
Tracking of all hazardous materials within the CERDEC HQ facilities.
Accountable for the continuous movement of waste from CERDEC through the disposal process, including the physical pick up of the wastes from a Satellite Accumulation Site (SAS) to transporting waste to the 90 Day Site.
Conduct monthly inspections of the hazardous waste Satellite Accumulation Sites and document in the monthly status report.
Keeping an inventory and ordering needed materials, spill response items, safety products, drums and containers, etc. for the Hazardous Waste Team on a monthly basis and document in the monthly status report.
Performs sampling of chemicals/oils/soils/water for analysis
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An Active Secret Clearance.
HS/GED w/ 3 years experience.
Must possess experience in utilizing the Enterprise Environmental Safety & Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS)
Hazardous Waste Management, HW101/201/301, TR101
