ASRC Federal Holding Company Network Engineer, Senior Lead in ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Maryland

Position : Network Engineer, Senior Lead

Location : ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD

Serves as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Review, assist and mentor lower-grade employee's work for quality, accuracy of work. Provide communications engineering expertise to PEO C3T in pursuit of technical and policy solutions to tactical enterprise and local area C4ISR challenges facing the Army's current and future forces. Requires technical expertise in the areas of communications network engineering, satellite communications, architecture, analysis, development, and network operations support. Position should be an SME with regard to strategic areas of SoS architecture development including next generation technology insertion strategies, and integration planning of future C4ISR capabilities. Provide analysis and assessments and test evaluation of potential high payoff communications capabilities in support of the PEO C3T global warfighter C4ISR support plan. The Contractor shall support the Government by performing tradeoff studies for system level design and material acquisition of tactical communication systems implement and test such methodologies and devices. Serves as a expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements. Responsible for independently designing, modifying, and installing portions of the network infrastructure. Assures non-functioning network components are repaired/replaced in a timely manner through maintenance contracts.

A Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific/technical discipline. A minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively more complex experience in network design, development, and documentation. Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level (i.e. 4 ADDITIONAL years in lieu of a Master's/8 ADDITIONAL years if no degree.

The Senior Lead Network Engineer shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience as a U.S. Army Lead Field Service Engineer in support of Tactical C4ISR systems. The Senior Lead Network Engineer shall have a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following: Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related scientific or technical discipline. Experience in Field Engineer support of Tactical C4ISR systems in an OCONUS region supporting units in combat operations and/or advise/assist missions is preferred.
