MAG Aerospace Program Finance Analyst II in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
MAG Aerospace is seeking a candidate with a finance background to support efforts within I2WD’s premier fabrication facility (FIFF). Duties will include managing an extremely diverse portfolio of projects and funding. Project manager experience is also required due to the dynamic nature and high OPTEMPO of the program's requirements.#LI-LQ1
Duties include, but not limited to:
Strong skills in budgeting, scheduling, trade-off analysis, risk management, supportability, test and evaluation, and requirements development are required
Ideal candidate will also provide project supervision and management for major program activities involving multifunctional tasking and substantial complexity
Determine appropriate procedures to submit individual budget execution actions in accordance with applicable policies, guidelines, and regulations.
Enter data into and complete required manual and automated budget forms to provide documentation in support of individual budget execution actions.
Review and confirm budgetary records to ascertain availability of funds to support individual budget execution actions, provide guidance to office manager/requestor to finalize use of funds.
Track and monitor individual budget execution actions. Perform follow up checks as needed to ensure timely commitment and obligation, report issues to appropriate government personnel.
Utilize financial records and reports to develop comparisons of prior year(s) expenditures with current year budget execution plans.
Utilize financial records and reports for monitoring and reporting on current year expenditures relative to planned execution and prior year expenditures, informing office manager of any significant changes or issues.
Prepare daily accounting reconciliation of accounting documents entered into the automated accounting system.
Will manage and direct technical project/program personnel to ensure objectives are met with top quality and levels of performance
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to perform various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects
This work requires knowledge and skill in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods and techniques of budgeting
Ability to research and gather information; verify and analyze data.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external organizations.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities.
Strong ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with others.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees and outside contacts at all levels, both in oral and written form

Self-motivated with minimal oversight.
Active Secret security clearance required
Minimum 4 years experience and/or AS/AA or 2yr Tech School; or HS/GED w/ 15 years or military experience E6 and up.
