Bennett Aerospace, Inc. has an opening for a highly motivated Strategic Communications SME supporting a US Army program located in Adelphi, MD. The successful candidate will support all professional and technical services. In addition, the successful candidate will report directly and responsively to the Bennett Aerospace Program Manager on all immediate project work.

Position Description:

  • Broad knowledge in the particular area of specialization with an in-depth understanding of the latest communications developments

  • Applies existing knowledge in field of specialization to a wide variety of situations

  • Uses general rules to develop specific applications to obtain specific strategic objectives

  • Broad knowledge in requirements definition, communication methods and procedures

Education Requirements:

  • BS/MS with 15-20 years of extensive strategic communications experience in a comparable job description;

  • Considered renowned in his or her field;

  • Possess the ability to solve complex problems in an efficient and unique manner.

  • Individual must possess a one-of-a-kind, unique expertise not readily available from other sources.

  • Capable of developing new and innovative applications of state of the art knowledge.

  • Knowledge in the particular area of specialization with in-depth understanding of the latest development in the related field.

  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • General knowledge of Information Technology systems and Communication.

  • Effective analytical skills through strategies development and implementation.

  • Ability to use independent initiative, good judgement, and decision-making skills when setting priorities.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Requires strong analytical and interpersonal.

  • The ability to solve complex problems and work in a team.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, tight deadline

Security Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
