Support mission success through integration of prototype processing solutions to improve ETL processes, performance and stability of the customer s products
In This Role You Will:
Create metrics and monitoring capabilities and dashboards for customer products.
Development of cloud-based solutions and technologies.
Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints. Perform quality control on team products.
Recommend and implement suggestions for improving documentation and software development process standards.
Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any particular project.
Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
Coordinate software installation on a system and monitor performance to ensure operational specifications are met.
Select the software development process in coordination with the customer and system engineering.
Ensure quality control of all developed and modified software.
Delegate programming and testing responsibilities to one or more teams and monitor their performance.

Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and 5 years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience using the Unix command line
Experience writing scripts using Bash
Experience developing in Java in a Unix environment
Experience developing, configuring, troubleshooting, and sustaining large Accumulo cloud deployments in a Unix environment
Experience developing with multiple programming languages such as C, Java, and Python
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
Experience with distributed file systems such as Ceph
Preferred Skills and Education
General HPC knowledge regarding compute, networking, memory, and storage components
Experience with CI/CD principals and concepts using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Bamboo
Experience with IaC principles and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and SaltStack
Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
Experience with scala/spark
