Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area to provide unparalleled support to our customers and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.
Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW.
Two (2) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Shall have experience in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems.
Experience in the development and implementation of test strategies, plans, traceability matrices, procedures, and reports.
Experience in writing test cases and writing discrepancy reports.
Experience with Basic UNIX or Windows commands and writing test scripts
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
