Role Summary:

The Skin Health Science Liaison will provide balanced, objective, clinical and scientific information support to health care professionals (HCPs) within the identified geography and to internal partners per business needs. The Skin Science Liaison combines business and market knowledge with clinical expertise to serve as a channel of information to their internal and external partners. The candidate will stay well-informed of current scientific and treatment landscape trends in therapeutic area(s) of focus and is responsible for building relationships with recognized specialists, physicians, investigators, prioritized partners and HCPs related to current and future Skin Health therapeutic areas and associated products in the field.


  • Build external relationships with customers/partners to address their unmet educational needs while understanding their treatment landscape.

  • Respond to customer unsolicited request for scientific information and provides education on the effective use of products within the Skin Health therapeutic area, in accordance with regulatory and health care compliance guidelines.

  • Develops, executes and maintains high impact territory plans, in alignment with therapeutic area, medical and scientific objectives with a focus on quality.

  • Executes high engagement educational events [individual and group settings]

  • Collect and communicate insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition, and other developments relevant to Skin Health therapeutic area and participates in Medical Affairs Field strategies to address feedback and/or uncovered educational gaps.

  • Transmit insights, therapeutic and patient/HCP need gaps to internal partners

  • Develop & demonstrate scientific and business insight and execute with excellence, timely completion of assigned tasks [documentation requirements, required trainings], meeting project results and achieving annual goals.

  • Partner with Dermatology Sales Team to execute high quality territory educational opportunities in line with HCC guidelines

  • Represent the organization in national and regional medical congresses

  • Ensures compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedure, including adherence to and timely documentation as it relates to HCP interactions.

  • Build positive relationships with R&D, Scientific Engagement, Professional Marketing and sales teams.


  • Minimum of Bachelors' degree in a relevant science field (pharmacy, clinical, nursing) is required.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Pharmaceutical or Medical Sales representative in a relevant therapeutic area is required.

  • Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines, medical issues, clinicals and science required.

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills

  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

  • Strong organizational and time leadership skills

  • Ability to travel 50% or higher is required.

  • Valid Drivers License required.
