SUMMARY: Perform color changes on machines and other related tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:
- Mix and tumble material, monitor color pump (preventative maintenance) and make
Perform color changes and restart Injection Molding Machine.
Maintain supply of resin to machine and color support for department.
Perform quality shots and turn in to Quality Assurance.
Clean out the screw and barrel and nozzle filter.
Follow the clear away procedures.
Maintain regrind inventory and effectively use regrind.
Must perform any other assigned duties.
Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Must have excellent attendance and a good work record.
Must have good housekeeping skills.
Preferred score of 42 or greater on the Bennett Mechanical Test (or equivalent demonstrated mechanical aptitude).
