Position Summary

This is a rare opportunity to be part of one of the most focal retail divisions at Under Armour. Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates. You will play a critical role in the selection, segmentation, placement and financials for the North America Factory House focused on Accessories.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assort products to build out successful and profitable ranges for UA’s NA Factory House business guided by Global priorities and through a clear merchandising vision and seasonal business strategy.

  • Influence a merchandising vision and business strategy for the Factory House Accessories business while reporting to the Director of Merchandising

  • Optimize product assortments with thoughtful segmentation within Factory House that will maximize potential for revenue and profit.

  • Partner with a team of cross functional experts assigned to the same category that include a Planning partner, Allocation Analyst, Marketing, Ops and Visual Merchandising partner.

  • Collaborate with manager and planning partners to maximize product opportunities and mitigate risk in-season. Communicate action plans through Monthly OTB process.

  • Recap seasonal hindsight learnings and strategically identify opportunities for future seasons.

  • Define product placement strategies and seasonal marketing stories and collateral needs

  • Analyze sales trends and make recommendations for strategic action.

  • Actively manage assortment line lists, pricing & promotional files, and business reporting.

  • Manage to a Go-To-Market calendar for future seasons while balancing current season demands.

  • Prepare line reviews for product category of responsibility.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Excellent partnership skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Ability to be part of a team, set challenging standards, develop strong partnerships, and lead others to action

  • Knowledge of Accessories product lines and Under Armour’s position within the industry.

  • Ability to communicate product strategies verbally and in writing

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3 years of merchandising or buying experience in a progressive, high growth retail organization

  • Experience in a well-regarded consumer products company

  • Have experience with a variety of go-to-market models (direct to consumer, wholesale, retail, etc.)

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
