Position: Cleanroom Production Technician - 2nd Shift

Shift: 2nd Shift (1-9:30p preferred)

Type: Full-time

Company background: Founded in September 2015 as a spinout from Johns Hopkins University, LifeSprout is a medical device company developing the next-generation of soft tissue alternatives for aesthetic and reconstructive medicine. The company is led by a management team well-versed in the business, clinical, and scientific aspects of medical device company operation. We are looking to expand both the manufacturing team to accelerate product development milestones.

Position Overview: LifeSprout is seeking a Cleanroom Production Technician. The position is extremely hands-on with primary responsibilities including (1) following established manufacturing protocols [specifically electrospinning, cyromilling, plasma treatment] to produce medical devices, and (2) following quality control procedures and good manufacturing practices (GMP) including stringent documentation of all procedures performed. The majority of the work will occur in LifeSprout?s cleanroom facility. This person will directly report to LifeSprout's Head of Manufacturing.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years experience in life science/cleanroom environments, especially medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.

  • Experience in chemical processing, documentation, and materials handling and processing; beneficial if previous experience includes electrospinning, hydrogel synthesis, and/or surface modification.

  • Previous experience following work instructions and inspection procedures/processes.

  • Experience working under GMP conditions and in Clean Room facilities.

  • Experience in working and directing collaborative research programs with other scientists; sharing data and problem solving collaboratively on a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute on deliverables and manage milestones.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required. Relocation assistance to Baltimore, MD will be considered based on candidate and circumstance.
