The Corporate Access Marketing Specialist is a partner to internal Corporate Access Originators, portfolio managers and external research professionals. Their primary purpose is to execute the process that connects T. Rowe Price investment staff to companies of investment interest by leading the end-to-end coordination and logistical execution of company management meetings. The incumbent will apply a consultative and collaborative approach in working with investment professionals and other key stakeholders to support the planning, coordination and flawless execution of management meetings from conception to completion.
This role will be based in our Baltimore headquarters and will report to the US Corporate Access Manager.
The candidate will:
Partner with internal Corporate Access Originators, investment staff (Portfolio Managers, Sector PMs, Associate PMs, Analysts and Associate Analysts) in addition to external investment research providers such as Broker Dealers to arrange for company meetings hosted at T. Rowe Price locations or off premises.
Effectively and proactively market research meetings to appropriate stakeholders including Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts. Revamp and drive both internal and external communications to manage the RSVP process.
Collaborate with CA Originators in planning and coordination of high-value large investor research trips (e.g., sector themed trips and/or industry-focused company field trips), including scheduling company meetings, confirming attendees and travel logistics.
Establish and develop new processes to enhance all communications between the Corporate Access team and the Investment Administration team on all events.
Handle daily corporate access efforts for T. Rowe Price, including planning, preparing, executing and reporting on meetings with company management teams. To include the preparation of all meeting and trip deliverables, if applicable.
Contribute ideas to build on and improve the existing process to facilitate company meeting requests from our investment staff.
Ensure that company meetings are recorded in RMS (including company information, host information, location, date, time and meal) to enable effective reporting and analysis. Book meeting venues (internal and external), confirm full arrangements and organize audiovisual equipment when required.
Oversee on-site management of events where necessary- especially as it relates to large-scale meetings taking on end-to-end execution.
Produce & distribute periodic and ad hoc reports to summarize company meeting activities on internal service level agreements to Investment Management.
Maintain and update Corporate Access CRM database as needed.
Serve as quality control check as it relates to all meeting logistics and deliverables.
Participate in and/or manage Corporate Access-specific projects as the project lead or key member of the working group. Projects will be of differing sizes and complexities. Projects may include business process improvement initiatives, building or enhancing reporting, etc.
Build external relationships with corporate Investor Relations teams, sell-side Corporate Access desks, Broker Dealers and other third-parties
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of work experience in corporate access, investor relations or the financial services industry strongly preferred
High attention to detail
