The Creative Director – America’s will oversee all Under Armour Storytelling within the Americas region and ensure all regional owned creative and projects are facilitated from creative development through final execution. The oversight includes regionally led brand platforms, campaigns, and global brand adaptions in the region. In addition, this role will oversee all omni-channel (retail and digital) creative in the region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with global and other regional creative teams, as well as Global Brand Marketing, to continually drive and refine how we communicate our Brand positioning, personality and value proposition to focus performers in the America’s.

  • Develop creative platforms and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization, advance our brand strategy and differentiate our Brand.

  • Work closely with Brand Marketing, Omni-Channel Marketing and the Content & Media team to driving brand experiences and brand communications in the region. Including brand storytelling, athlete storytelling and product marketing.

  • Direct and partner with Wholesale partners’ creative and marketing teams to lead consistent Brand creative partnership with a retailer’s brand.

  • Direct and Partner with publishing and content partners to oversee creative concepting and content capture to ensure it meets UA’s high Brand standards.

  • Present to Sr. leadership, Accounts and other internal stakeholders on concepts, designs and ideas to gain support.

  • Use behavioral data and insights to inform and evolve our creative identity. Including influencing the customer journey and experience, ultimately leading to increased engagement and conversion.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITES)

  • Proven design capabilities

    Master communicator sharing information, influencing marketing shareholders and negotiating in order to achieve their objectives.

• This role has direct reports. The Creative Director must lock in on an idea, set the tone and style and ensure their team create the appropriate materials needed – pictures, movies, words, code

• Must be an excellent coach and mentor for teammates with their direct team and across cross functional teams.

Experience writing compelling creative

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's

  • 10 years’ of Creative experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – mastery in the core basics
