Greater Baltimore Medical Center Credentialed Trainer EPIC in Baltimore, Maryland

Under general supervision of the Application Manager, the Credentialed Trainer provides end user support for all Epic applications throughout the health system. Trains new employees, provides monthly educational sessions, and extends one on one instruction as necessary. Assists providers with personalization and smart text creation, actively troubleshoots end user issues and triages the need for training versus system related issues. Assists with the development of lesson plans, class registrations, and scheduling. As needed the Credentialed Trainer may visit provider practices and other ambulatory areas at offsite locations.


Associates Degree, training certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


3 years' training program design, delivery and facilitation preferred.

· Sufficiently mobile to go to and from office to hospital and to other sites in the enterprise.

· Proficient with PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Licensures, Certifications

Physical Requirements

Stand for a minimum of 4 hours.

Working Conditions

Normal office environment – frequent interruptions, diverse personnel interactions, time-pressures and deadlines. Includes on-call responsibility for off hours and weekend systems support.

Conditions of Employment

Completion of Credential Trainers Course within first six weeks of employment and pass a credentialing test with a minimum score of 85%.
