Description
If you have a finance background and possess strong communication skills, you may qualify for this Financial Analyst role via Robert Half Finance. This growing team is looking to add a Financial Analyst who is very strong with systems, data analysis, and financial modeling skills. Job duties include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Your responsibilities:
Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required
Work with the Accounting team on monthly and quarterly financial close processes
Compile and supervise forecasting reports
Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources
Look over performance to date while assessing potential opportunities and risks
Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, strategic resource allocation and prioritization, and event tracking and execution
Requirements
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Strong Spreadsheet Skills
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools a plus
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis
Essbase / Power BI experience preferred
