PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Lead or support a team or project leader to plan and manage resources, finances, scope and services at Exelon Clearsight to deliver business results. Develop and provide innovation solutions to create and enhance Exelon Clearsight service offerings-- through piloting activities when appropriate-- on time, within budget and with the required functionality. Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with corporate colleagues, clients, prospects, and vendors. Manage small and large-scale projects of varying complexity, size and change management risk.
Support the communication of innovation efforts and successes as well as education of various stakeholders on innovation culture, principles and processes.
Be a self-starter. Deliver rapid results with a fast-paced, agile approach.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provides NDE expertise to the team by leading development of inspection programs and supporting peer products pertaining to specific examination techniques and applications. Maintain current business knowledge/acumen, including application of technology solutions to deliver business results.
Serves as the NDE Administrator for training/qualification and certification of NDE personnel. Maintaining and developing Exelon Clearsight NDE procedures.
Plan and manage scope, schedule, and budget for defined deliverables in accordance with applicable project management standards.
Lead and manage Exelon Clearsight projects and associated stakeholders to deliver projects of medium to high complexity.
Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with customers, prospects, business partners, and innovation partners. Communicate status to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
Operate utilizing standard processes as defined within the Management Model where applicable. Oversee process improvement efforts and ensure adoption of standard processes and procedures that deliver sustainable top quartile cost and performance levels.
Qualifications
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
4 year College degree (technical or business)
Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in NDE
Knowledgeable in ASME and other Code requirements used in the Power industry
Knowledgeable in ISI, IVVI, FAC, IWE/IWL Program requirements
Experience in Project Management
Certifiable to NDE Level III (ASNT) in 3 or more methods
Preferred:
9-12 years of relevant experience as a certified Level III in multiple methods
5+ years’ experience executing nuclear refueling outages
Knowledgeable in Risk Informed ISI
Knowledgeable in various NDE methods – MT/PT/RT/VT/UT/ET
Familiarity with technology, innovation and start-up culture
Experience managing budgets for functional area of responsibility
