Design of mechanical, fire safety, and specialty engineering systems, including fire alarm and detection systems, mass notification, suppression, smoke control, and special hazard systems.
Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
Review design and construction submittals for compliance with regulatory requirements, including building code reviews and analyses.
Perform site surveys to inspect and evaluate building features and systems.
Plan and direct engineering activities for projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Fire Protection, or related engineering field.
3-10 years of experience in design and layout of mechanical or specialty engineering systems
Excellent report writing and interpersonal skills.
Ability to present clear and technically sound engineering strategies and good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, enjoy professional challenges, and endeavor to be an integral part of the long-term growth of Jensen Hughes.
Ability or desire to manage/lead projects preferred.
Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred.
