Under Armour Retail is looking for a talented professional to join our Merchandise Planning team! The Planner, FH Men’s role is an opportunity to join the rapidly growing direct-to-consumer sales engine. You will play a key role in the pre-season financial and inventory planning process as well as in-season inventory optimization, with the ability to drive instant impact. This individual will work closely with the Allocation, Merchandising/Buying, Visual and Store Operations teams.


  • Develop preseason sales, margin and inventory plans that support cross-functional merchandising strategies, productivity and EOY inventory targets.

  • Familiarity of using ladders to forecast in-season sales, margin and inventory sell-thru, demonstrating capacity to reading business trends.

  • Analyze weekly/monthly reporting and read out overall performance, drivers and detractors during weekly sales and monthly open to buy meetings.

  • Partner with merchandising teams to develop markdown and pricing recommendations based on floorplan and inventory positioning.

  • Lead quarterly hindsight reports to drive strategic assortment decisions for future quarters and in-season management.

  • Provide multi-scenario analysis around promotional events and iconic product.

  • Drive strong cross-functional partnership with Merchandising and Allocation through effective and consistent communication.

  • Support an environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others as well as ongoing collaboration to execute business strategy.


  • Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent partnership skills.

  • Ability to read data and trends, producing forward-looking solutions.

  • Strong presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop strong partnerships cross-functionally and drive change with compelling arguments.


  • Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.

  • Minimum 2-3 years retail merchandise planning/ store planning experience in a progressive and growth focused retail organization.


  • Relocation may be provided up to a specified amount.
