CDW is one of the most important partners in the VMware Federal business. This person will be responsible for:
Management and growth of the VMware Federal business through CDW. Must have an entrepreneurial perspective on the business, looking for innovative ways to drive value both to CDW and CDW customers through VMware solutions. Will be responsible for creating a business plan to grow the VMware Federal business above historical growth rates, creating opportunities for CDW to lead the Federal market in Multi-Cloud, Modern Applications, Digital Workspace, and Intrinsic security platforms sales. Will own enablement and go-to-market plans with CDW Federal. Will be responsible for the breadth of relationships across CDW Federal from sales leadership & individual sales teams to the PPM organization.
This is a sales-focused position with the expectation that we will grow the VMware Federal business, meet and exceed specific bookings targets through our partnership with CDW.
Fostering productive teamwork & collaboration between VMware core/specialist sellers and CDW is an important outcome for this position.
2-5 years of experience working with and holding multi-level relationships across CDW Federal
Sales background with strong partner skills and acumen
Business/financial skills are highly valued
Strong communications and relationship skills
Must be comfortable working with and navigating a complex organization like CDW
