This dynamic group handles a diverse and critical suite of functions and responsibilities across tech, creative, and operations.
The Senior Manager of Technology Operations will collaborate across the organization to improve the overall efficiency of our technology operations and create a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong and empowering leadership skills, strategic thought leadership, influencing without authority, and an ability to execute. Your efforts will lead to swifter resolutions, higher quality of support, and more efficient processes.
The ideal candidate will push everyone involved in our company’s operational group to strive for excellence and progress. But that’s not enough.

Lead, empower, and mentor team of technologists and creatives in the following areas: web/application development, digital product management, e-commerce development/production, marketing automation, messaging/email/ SMS production and delivery, email deliverability management, quality assurance/testing automation
Build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels across the organization
Take ownership of the health, growth, and efficiency of technology and related operations, systems, tools, and practices at InvestorPlace
Create solutions with a focus on sustainability. These solutions could include process re-engineering, product recommendations, documentation, automated tools, and other scalable initiatives.
Manage all vendor relationships pertaining to the team’s functions, including ongoing evaluation of existing partnerships, contract negotiations, vendor selection, and seamless vendor transitions / terminations
Identify opportunities for improvement in technology, systems, and related processes and advocate for change
Collaborate and lead cross-functional projects and programs
Steward self-education and team education in areas of purview that need development
Communicate regularly with key colleagues on updates to tools, systems, processes, relevant changes
Make data- and insight-driven decisions to bring about meaningful change
Continuously work to improve all of the above
7+ years experience leading diverse teams in a technology or operations field
Strong leadership skills
Bachelor’s degree or advanced education in relevant technology / operations field
Functional knowledge of email deliverability, related technologies and strategies, ISP practices, related domestics and international regulations and governance
Functional knowledge of web technologies, systems management, operational principles, related best practices
Experience with Salesforce or similar marketing or CRM platform preferred
Experience with JIRA/Confluence strongly preferred
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional judgement, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Energetic and positive attitude, with an ability to remain solution-focused under pressure
Six sigma / lean six sigma training or related education / certifications a plus
