Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Global Brand Marketing – Men’s Training, is responsible for all marketing related activity related to the Under Armour Men’s Training consumer, worldwide. The ideal teammate is willing to obsess about all things Men’s Training in order to craft consumer-focused, audience-driven go-to-market strategies for Men’s Training at Under Armour. It is essential that the Sr. Manager focus on growing the brand and driving sales by delivering a full funnel consumer journey that drives consideration and affinity with the Men’s Training consumer. The Sr. Manager will inspire diversity of thought, curiosity, and explore big ideas while collaborating with their cross-functional partners and regional marketing partners across the globe. Ultimately, this leader will build global integrated marketing plans that authentically connect with the Men’s Training consumers and achieve or exceed revenue goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be the voice of the consumer. Be a thought leader and serve as a specialist around the Men’s Training consumer, partnering closely with the consumer insights team to identify insights to action on.

  • Drive our purpose and values through all facets of planning and strategic development.

  • Quarterback the GTM process driving strategy and development, partnering with key marketing cross-functional expertise partners to create plans that build authenticity & credibility in the Men’s Training category, drive consumer engagement & achieve / exceed sales goals, globally.

  • Establish and drive a culture of mentorship across the extended team.

  • Lead/Support development of annual brand plan in partnership with Men’s/Women’s/Boys/Girls marketing teams.

  • Partner with Director of Women’s & Men’s Training to define the holistic 3-5 year strategy and create key consumer journeys/stories.

  • Partner with product & merchandising to support product positioning, storytelling and naming when applicable.

  • Create seasonal marketing for key seasonal stories within the consumer’s journey - coordinating across teams to drive efficiency + alignment.

  • Strategically align with regional marketing partners to ensure campaigns are regionally relevant and ensure support elements for campaigns can be leveraged by regions.

  • Build close partnership with all cross-functional teams (marketing, product, merchandising, sales, etc.) to ensure relevant insights are cascaded to key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team on collection of consumer trends, competitive insights, industry updates and sales reports and obsess over the Men’s Train consumers life.

  • Own the category specific marketing budgets.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • Purpose-led + consumer obsessed + Brand enhancing

  • Possess and convey a senior level presence, confidence and understanding of the business.

  • Deep understanding and experience building GTM plans (Consumer, Positioning, Insights, Strategy, Brief Writing)

  • Strategic, curious, enterprise and ambitious mindset

  • Ability to understand + synthesize data, insights, marketing metrics

  • Understanding of global/regional commercial marketplace and business dynamics

  • Ability to lead, manage, and influence x-functional partners

  • Deep understanding of the consumer/audience journey

  • Relationship builder

  • Ability to create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations

  • Effectively present/communicate to teams/groups

Education And / Or Experience

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field

  • 7+ years of relevant marketing experience in a fast-paced, consumer-driven, product-oriented company.

  • Managing and/or influencing teams and/or teammates

  • Prior experience working for a global company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture

  • Proven global citizen through travel and diversity of experiences

  • Effectively present/communicate to teams/groups
