VMware Sr. Product Manager - Tanzu App Services - Opportunity for Working Remotely in Baltimore, Maryland
Ready to build? So are we. Come join VMware’s new and exciting Modern Applications Business Unit (MAPBU) team, made up of products and services under the Tanzu portfolio (http://https//tanzu.vmware.com/tanzu) to help customers build, run, and manage their most important applications. We build VMware Tanzu Application Service (TAS), which is used by many of the world’s largest companies.
Tight feedback loops drive our processes. We value test-driven development, pair programming, retrospectives, continuous integration, data-informed decision making, and working at a sustainable pace. We nurture psychological safety within teams and empower them to drive the changes necessary to obtain successful outcomes. We build software and solve problems collaboratively. Teammates are always accessible to lend a helping hand. The TAS teams are distributed around the US and Canada and try to overlap their hours of work between 9-3 PST to ensure in-person and real-time communication.
As a Product Manager of the Tanzu Application Service, you will be responsible for a product that’s purpose-built for developers to boost feature velocity and for operations teams to deliver world-class uptime. You have seen the power of empowered, balanced teams and believe in Outcomes over Output (https://vimeo.com/206617354/a4f8a1f8e8) . You are excited by the user and business value that technology can unlock. You thrive in a complex ecosystem, collecting, sharing, and synthesizing input from many directions and enabling the teams that you work with to continuously deliver customer value. You believe in doing the right thing and doing what works. To learn more about Tanzu watch this video. (http://https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYO4WrPKWI8) #TeamTanzu
