SURVICE Engineering Communications Lead - DoD Clearance Required in Belcamp, Maryland

Join us in making a difference in the lives of those defending our nation!SURVICE Engineeringioperates theiDepartment of Defense Information Analysis Center (DoD IAC) Basic Centers of Operations (BCO)icontract in a trusted agent role for the U.S. Department of Defense. The mission of IAC is to collect, analyze, synthesize and disseminate scientific and technical information (STI); conduct research and analysis; and partner with the DoD science and technology community to improve the productivity of engineers and scientists in the DoD community and reduce redundancy in RandD spending. Specific to the partnership aspect of the IAC mission the goal is to promote the IAC products and services penetrating as much of the DoD scientific and technology (SandT) community as possible.SURVICEiis seeking aiCommunications Leadito support the development and maintenance of a Service Promotion Plan to capture objectives, strategy, methods, and tactics to promote awareness of the IAC mission/capabilities and to increase engagement with the DoD SandT community; and lead the IAC outreach efforts to maximize engagement with DoD SandT community.Location: Belcamp, MDSpecific duties and responsibilities of this full-time position include:Promote the IAC products and services of the BCOs and the DoD IAC Program at meet-n-greet meetings, conferences, symposia, workshops, and other engagements where government and other subject matter experts will be present by attending events, displaying at a booth, and presenting as a speaker or panel contributor.Establish initiatives and metrics that enhance the use of social media and track/manage the IAC social media presence.Lead and support the development of promotional materials (such as briefings, News Digests, fact sheets, success stories, etc.).Conduct outreach to foster partnerships with influential defense organizations associated with the DoD SandT community in support of collaborative research efforts.Ensure compliance with government procedures regarding the publication of promotional materials.Support scheduling and coordination of training and webinar efforts.Travel to promote IAC services and products approximated at about 25% time.Support the population and management of the IAC registered user and Subject Matter Expert (SME) database.Perform additional activities as requested by the IAC Director or Deputy Director.Minimum QualificationsB.S. in communications or related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience in leading an organizations promotion and outreach efforts.Proficiency with MS Office suite, SharePoint and databases searchesExcellent organizational and communication skillsClearance Requirement:iActive DoD security Clearanceiis requiredi*** To see what it's like working for SURVICE, find out what our employees have to sayi***Employee TestimonialsiSURVICE Engineering is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
