Job Description

The ideal candidate is an organized and methodical professional experienced with the manufacture of electro-mechanical devices. This candidate will take a lead positon to implement our quality system to grow and maintain a world class manufacturing organization.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the overall quality of our products and foster a ?quality culture,? in which all employees become actively engaged in guaranteeing quality in our finished product and our production process.

Objectives of this Role

  • Plan, implement, and manage our quality processes

  • Assure the quality and consistency of our products

  • Implement procedures and process to assure our success.

  • Design and manage the quality work flow


  • Design quality control systems for our products

  • Manage Quality Control personnel and perform QC personally when needed

  • Oversee incoming materials and parts inspections

  • Oversee In-process and final inspection of products

  • Design and maintain the quality records systems

  • Identify training needs

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training documents

  • Periodic review and update of our quality assurance processes

  • Oversee product assurance testing

  • Maintain quality documents

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Computer skills to prepare reports, write procedures, or log test data in other systems

  • Ability to communicate technical data with spreadsheets, charts, or documents

  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools, esp. ISO

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage others

  • Ability to work effectively across organizational lines

  • Judgment to know when to collaborate, train, enforce, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in product quality assurance roles

  • Professional certification or experience in a quality field a plus

  • US citizenship
