Job Description:

The Senior Manager of Leadership, Development and Organizational Effectiveness, in support of ASRC Federal's overall strategy and goals, designs and administers the enterprise-wide staff and leadership development training programs. Assesses training needs, designs, administers and implements professional development and work-related training and education programs. Designs and assists in the implementation of customized organizational strategies and solutions to complex management and organizational challenges. Serves as an in-house leadership coach; partnering with administrative leaders in support of their strategic and professional leadership/development goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes and oversees training programs, including designing and selecting course content, tools, and materials.

  • Assesses the training and development needs of all staff and administrative leaders and is responsible for the successful delivery of all staff training courses and the annual development program under the leadership and development program.

  • Creates innovative learning solutions that foster experiential learning and development with demonstrable impact on business results Applies modern adult learning techniques to support classroom, virtual and online learning.

  • Designs content, including (but not limited to) measurable learning objectives, participant materials and tools, experiential scenarios and simulations, assessments and evaluative questionnaires.

  • Participates in stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews that enable identification and curation of relevant content for the end-learner.

  • Recommends and documents project instructional standards and strategies, learner engagement strategies, and evaluation plans.

  • Overall design, implementation and management of our internal nomination process, creation of a centralized Community of Practice, training tracking system and the development of a Group Learning Calendar.

  • Serves as in-house leadership coach for ASRC leaders. Partners with leaders in a thought-provoking, reflective, evaluative, and action orientation process that leads to meaningful goal setting and successful outcomes.

  • Facilitates Train-the-Trainer sessions and activities as needed.

  • Formulates training schedule and determines instructional methods such as individual training and/or coaching, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings and workshops.

  • In collaboration with HR Business Partners, provides strategic and consultative leadership to leaders for effective development and execution of management training and development programs. Efforts include, but are not limited to, proposal creation, program design, training logistics, and delivery/facilitation of enterprise-wide and department specific training programs and initiatives.

  • Measures the effectiveness of training programs through performance management data and other tools to understand the gap between current skills and performance levels and the desired skills and performance levels.

  • Establishes and maintains a resource library of available training programs and materials.

  • Monitors industry developments and updates materials as needed.

  • Administers the HR - Leadership Development budget and processes vendor payments based on contractual agreements.

  • Prepares and presents program reports and proposals to the L&D team.

  • Continues personal, professional growth and development:

  • Develops professional contacts with colleagues and professional organizations.

  • Attends professional development training events.

  • Delivers and administers assessment tools, i..e Myers Briggs, 360 Reviews, etc.

  • Attends training and/or certification courses approved by the Chief Human Resources Officer.
