Kforce VP of Talent Services in Beltsville, Maryland

Kforce has a client in search of a VP of Talent Services in Beltsville, MD.Duties:

  • Maintain and extend HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the company's mission and strategic vision

  • Maintain and extend HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives

  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit regarding key organizational and management issues

  • Work with the CEO to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company

  • Oversee execution of strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the talent services needs based on corporate strategic goals

  • Oversee execution of comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the Talent Services by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation, and benefits globally

  • Identify and report on key metrics to assess and diagnose the health of the organization

  • Serve as an expert resource to leadership and employees in all facets of Human Resources; Provide concrete, timely and value-added generalist services to include organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, succession, and development planning

  • Coordinates the annual performance evaluation process and conducts market salary analysis to ensure individual salaries remain competitive and in-line with career path planning for the organization

  • Oversees and directs performance management and compensation plans based on compensation philosophy that are competitive and cost effective for government contracting industry and highly skilled cleared talent

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or related field preferred

  • A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least eight years of executive HR Management experience and at least two years of international HR experience

  • Must have hands on experience with ADP Workforce Now

  • Must have a least 10 years of Government Contracting experience

  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
