CVP is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional with a background in training, evaluation and communication to support a Federal agency’s Enterprise Information Security training and Awareness Program, which aligns with industry best practices and includes NIST Special Publication (SP) 800-181, National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, SP 800-50, Building an Information Technology Security Awareness and Training Program, and SP 800-16, Information Technology Security Training Requirements: A Role- and Performance-Based Model.
Support the agency in the continued development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic awareness and education campaign for cybersecurity.
Complete the development and implementation of the comprehensive strategic awareness and education campaign.
Refine the overall campaign strategy for implementation.
Develop an Enterprise Information Security Training Plan that describes the courses and solutions that will be used to help provide the necessary security awareness training material to agency personnel as well as agency partner and contractor resources.
Develop an Enterprise Outreach Campaign Plan that describes the activities and tools required to perform outreach across the agency to help further embed security into the agency’s culture.
Develop, deliver, and track user completion of information security role-based training courses to provide agency system users (federal employees and contractors) with the knowledge needed to achieve the information security vigilance for protecting agency systems, personnel, and information.
Review and update the security awareness courses and role-based security training courses aligned with industry best practices and the NIST/NICE Framework to Computer-Based Training (CBT).
Maintain and update the agency’s Information Security and Information Management Training system.
Maintain a robust Security and Awareness outreach program.
Bachelor degree in a related field
8 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated instructional design, training delivery and communication campaigns
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Knowledge of NIST and FISMA guidelines
3 years of experience in cybersecurity
