Fairstead is seeking a Marketing Coordinater to provide administrative and technical support related to the development and implementation of community and portfolio level marketing efforts. Initiatives include coordinating marketing plans, advertising campaigns, and other programs that help achieve optimal leasing and financial performance within the portfolio of properties.
Supports and works with the Marketing team to implement strategic and tactical marketing and advertising plans by gathering and providing marketing information, producing occupancy, traffic, and leasing reports, researching sources and rates for advertising, and coordinating various marketing activities for properties comprising the assigned portfolios.
Collects, reviews and maintains property specific marketing files, marketing collateral and information including photos, floor plan diagrams, copy, maps and brand standards. Coordinates the production and distribution of brochures, promotional items and other marketing collateral materials by working with vendors and suppliers, fielding requests from on-site team members, and tracking orders, deliveries, and invoices.
Maintains and updates the current collateral materials and assess needs for additional items.
Maintains and updates all advertising and marketing publications and maintains vendor contacts, rate cards, media kits and login records to access data and reporting.
Conducts regular internet listing site (ILS), social media/reputation websites, and print publication audits to ensure content is accurate and integrated within the digital operations platform, including testing tracking information.
Performs website updates including copy, photography and weekly specials.
Support the Marketing team by processing department invoices, initiating and processing contracts, maintaining and updating property media schedules, and assisting with budget tracking for the portfolio.
Updates marketing materials for properties including flyers, open house invitations, etc.
Participates in preparing for marketing meetings and presentations by preparing PowerPoint presentations and other meeting materials, compiling reports on progress, costs, and results, and assisting operations leaders and marketing associates in organizing and conducting the meetings.
Assists in the on-boarding of new properties and disposition of properties.
Assists in scheduling and coordinating training on marketing tools by preparing and distributing logistical information, registering and confirming attendees, securing meeting room/virtual meeting software, and assisting trainers with other activities and follow-up related to scheduled programs.
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of professional experience required; Corporate experience in marketing and/or real estate preferred
Four-year degree in marketing or business and/or equivalent experience is preferred
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with internal and external team members
General understanding of the industry, including the processes associated with creating traffic, leasing, and other activities that drive occupancy preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to use the internet for communicating, marketing, and advertising purposes, including social media, listing sites, e-mail, and other communication and advertising tools.
Proficiency in managing multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and working with minimal direction or supervision.
