If so, IBM’s Communications Enablement Team could be just the right fit. We’re looking for an intellectually curious and entrepreneurial colleague to join our quick-thinking, creative and agile team as a Measurement and Metrics lead. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting IBM’s global Communications & Citizenship Function by consistently measuring our effectiveness, and helping identify insights that will help IBM to win the next era of computing. You’ll track and evaluate our holistic storytelling efforts across business units, geographies and distribution channels, like earned and owned media. Along the way, you’ll be exposed to various parts of IBM’s business, learn about breakthrough innovations like quantum computing and hybrid cloud, and collaborate with some of the smartest, hardworking colleagues in the game today.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Oversee the execution and refinement of measurement and reporting process for earned and owned media channels
Monitor news cycles, competitor efforts and industry trends to help identify and anticipate new opportunities
Identify metrics and key performance indicators that provide demonstrable value to the organization
Deliver reports and share findings that translate data trends into actionable insights
Manage frontline communication with vendors and agencies supporting measurement and reporting efforts
Collaborate with business unit, market and specialty teams to ensure consistency and continuity across the organization
Implement processes that improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden
Serve as a trusted communications advisor and share best practices across the extended Marketing and Communications team

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Approximately 9+ years of corporate communications and PR experience, ideally within the technology industry and an organization with a global presence
Current knowledge of PR measurement best practices, tools and vendors
Understanding of evolving communications trends with an emphasis on media, measurement and analytics
Experience collaborating with PR agencies and technology vendors
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management proficiency and ability to multitask across several projects at once
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, working with a variety of teams and organizational levels
Demonstrates initiative, accountability and flexibility in pursuing assignments
