Pyramid Healthcare Regional Director of Maintenance in Charlotte Hall, Maryland

We are seeking a Regional Director of Maintenance to oversee our growing presence in the Virginia and Maryland.
Position Summary:
The MD/VA Regional Director of Construction/Maintenance is responsible for directing and managing all aspects related to 3rd party contractors/vendors with regard to new healthcare building construction and renovation activities while ensuring construction work is completed on time, per specification, and within budgeted costs with the highest degree of quality. Position reports to the Executive Vice President of Engineering/Construction
Essential Job Functions:
Manages contractor/vendor partner relationships and monitors performance
Leads initiatives to improve processes and productivity in vendor relationships and to optimize agreements.
Supports the negotiation of contractual agreements between Pyramid and its partners ensuring that short- and long-term service and cost objectives are met.
Participate in and manage to annual and project budgets,
Recommends sourcing goals and strategies to meet objectives,
Performs cost and spend analysis to identify cost effective solutions for existing and future contracts.
Utilizes partner and relationship management best practices, such as preferred suppliers, service level agreements, and long-term pricing strategies to achieve a balance of cost effectiveness
Stays current on trends and developments within construction/vendor management Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget
Prepares interim and completion project reports Manages the team of direct reports and Construction Coordinators.
Set team goals and priorities to facilitate achievement of organizational objectives
Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Five direct reports - Facility Maintenance, Construction Managers, Housekeeping Manager
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business
10 years of experience in Engineering or project management, Outside Building Construction, and Vendor Management
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.
