Description
Dixon is looking for a CDL Driver to join our Distribution team in Chestertown, MD!
This position will make day time runs on a truck route. The CDL Driver is responsible for making deliveries to various departments and between plant locations. When not making deliveries, this position will support the Receiving department in moving, storing, and spacing materials as needed. A current CDL-A license is required for this position. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years experience as a CDL-A Driver. As part of the Dixon team you will receive a competitive salary, paid vacation, 401K, health benefits, and much more!
Responsibilities:
- Make local truck runs
- Help in receiving area as needed
- Work in a safe manner
- Maintain fleet trucks and cars to ensure they are in good working order and clean
- Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
- Must be able to communicate well with others
- Lifting up to 70 lbs. over the course of a shift
- Team player
- Good work ethic and attitude
- Clear CDL-A License
- Fork lift license required
