To help drive this effort, Microsoft is investing in the Customer Success organization that will play a key role in helping Microsoft customers achieve this digital transformation through successful adoption of Microsoft Cloud solution and Services.
The Customer Success team will drive change management and adoption activities with key business decision makers and IT decision makers, helping reduce implementation risk, driving usage of existing solutions, and identifying opportunities to accelerate the path for customers to realize business value from their investments.
We are looking for a high-energy senior leader to lead the Business strategy for the AI business within the WW Data & AI Customer Success organization. As the AI Business strategy manager, you will develop and execute the strategy for the AI business in partnership with the functional leaders and teams across these functions: Workforce Architecture & success, Business Operations Excellence, Delivery channel success, and Consumption success. You will develop and drive the strategy for the customer success organization’s execution of the AI priorities including a focus on consumption growth through accelerated deployment, improved retention, and expanded usage of AI services.
As the AI Business Strategy leader, you will have accountability for the overall business results and insights related to the consumption of Azure AI services, as well as the indirect impact on Azure Data Services all-up. You will partner with the Engineering, Marketing, Solutions, Partner, and Services organizations to develop and drive the unified business strategy for AI and be recognized as a thought leader for this solution space. You will represent the business to cross-group executive stakeholders and present on topics related to business strategy, execution, and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the company.
Your primary accountabilities will include:
ADS performance and growth for the AI pillar
Accelerated deployment, best-in-class customer retention rates and expansion KPIs on AI engagements
Field CSU success – attainment, retention, role & goal clarity for all roles, leadership engagement and satisfaction
Resource Productivity KPIs
Operational efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness; high quality program execution with positive business impact
Community satisfaction and productivity – effective landing of messages and guidance with the WW AI and Data CSU field
Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
Technical Delivery (required):
Enterprise customer experience in AI solutions . Experience engaging with enterprise customers as a technical delivery leader
Use Case Development – experience identifying and developing use case scenarios and aligning those to a solution architecture
Experience working on customer engagements with production-level deployments
Working and developing first-of-a-kind solutions in development and growth markets
Cloud Depth and Breadth . Knowledge and experience on conceptual or solutions architecture of cloud-based AI platform workloads
Strategy development and rollout. Experience developing sales plays to delivery/consumption plays that translate to clear business outcomes for the customer
Experience creating, developing and scaling an AI Center of Excellence
Market insights . Understanding of AI platforms (Machine Learning, Knowledge Mining, Cognitive Services etc.) preferred
Excellent Communicator. Strong people, negotiation, organizational, presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills required .
Lead. Able to lead, inspire and influence cross-group resources to drive business impact required .
Market Maker . Strong leadership to influence key technical decision makers, influencers, business decision makers and peers required .
Performer. Highly driven passionate person who consistently exceeds goals and expectations required.
Growth Mindset. Experience and passion for learning (technical and soft skills); implementing practices from others; trying, failing and learning from that; sharing practices and knowledge for others’ benefit required.
Experience . 5+ years of related experience in customer success, sales, or business development roles focused on the AI technologies required .
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred .
Depth of knowledge in domain-specific technologies (AI platform/technologies certification) required .
