As part of Microsoft Engineering, The FastTrack team has a primary role in driving this strategy and is looking for individuals that share in the passion to drive business value and customer success using Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
The FastTrack Shared Services team is looking for a seasoned, results-driven, energetic, and hands-on Program Manager to define and execute Forecasting strategy across people, tools, and processes. The candidate should have a proven background with forecasting techniques and ability to synthesize requirements from multiple stakeholders to drive feature roadmap and clarity with at-scale execution.

Key business metrics & responsibilities will include:
Define FastTrack Forecasting strategy, scope and principles that aligns with workload engineering and FastTrack priorities.
Collaborate with FastTrack product and operations teams to deliver modern tools, process, and clear guidance to accurately capture and report forecast.
Partner with data science teams to mature forecasting framework that integrates FastTrack tools with machine learning approaches to drive exponential impact.
Drive innovation to develop standard measurements for forecast confidence and accuracy that enables corrective actions.
Maintain tight integration with Finance to influence business decisions based on forecast volume to maximize ROI impact.
Regularly analyze insights collected from business rhythms, roles advisory and community groups to identify problem statements and areas of improvement.
Work closely with BI team to deliver high quality data and actionable insights via simple and intuitive dashboards.
Facilitate in-year governance to implement changes to Forecasting scope resulting from incremental approvals and shift in priorities.
Execute regular structured rhythm of business, prioritization, and communication plan with all stakeholders.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across product marketing, workload engineering, finance, field, and data sciences.
Strong experience in managing relationships with business leaders, leading a complex portfolio of programs, enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions.
Solid understanding of business and operations fundamentals, including capacity planning, business forecasting, budgeting, and key business performance indicators.
Broad business acumen with the ability to translate abstract thoughts into understandable messages for wider consumption.
Demonstrate leadership, great interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, flexibility, and above all a passion for customers.
Exceptional influence without authority and excellent collaboration skills.
Excellent communications and presentation skills – able to present, discuss and articulate challenges and accomplishments to a range of audiences, in a concise and effective manner.
Able to deal with ambiguity – can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5 years in business planning and forecasting related functions.
5 years in program management, leading complex initiatives.
3 years in business analytics.
Familiar with Microsoft 365 and/or Cloud solutions
Occasional travel (0-25%) is expected in this role.
