Responsibilities

RoleResponsibilities:

  • As the US Skilling PM you will work with the Americas Regional Learning Lead, US WWL leadership team and the US Marketing & Operations team, as well as other regional and Worldwide teams, to:

  • Establish, run, and evolve the process to build a multi-year US Skilling Strategy, including its execution

  • Partner with and influence the members of the US M&O PMM and ELT community to execute on broad Skilling initiatives

  • Lead additional ad-hoc strategic projects, that may emerge in alignment with business needs

  • Ensure regular Stakeholder Engagement within the USLT

  • Build the stakeholder map for the US Skilling programs, drive the existing engagement, and influence its evolution

  • Work with and help drive the US WWL LT to not only align on strategic skilling programs but also set up process to consistently capture feedback for WWL Programs and Engineering teams.

  • Partner with the WWL Field communications team to develop and drive organization-level communications within the US Area LTThis senior role will be a key member of the US WWL LT and work regularly with the US Area M&O and other US business leaders and will be accountable for driving successful execution across several unique Skilling programs. The role will report directly to the Americas Regional Learning Lead and will be a member of the management team.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a fast paced, operationally or project management focused role

  • The position requires an individual who understands how to get things done at Microsoft through influence by leveraging your extensive interpersonal and collaboration skills. You must have experience in Field marketing and/or sales, execution, building relationships and working with executives at all levels.

  • Strong knowledge and experience working with engineering, corporate headquarters, field teams, and customers is an excellent advantage.

  • You should enjoy working under pressure and deadlines, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty, while driving clarity.

  • Ability to work across organizational boundaries to build alignment and drive closure on issues and results; good project management skills

  • Competency in the areas of cross group collaboration, analytical/financial thinking, creative problem solving, process development and strategic development

  • Strong organizational skills, excellent execution, and follow through skills

  • Ability to adapt and change with the needs of the organization and business

  • Manages confidentiality without exception; demonstrates outstanding judgment

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

  • Power-user of Teams and PowerPoint and familiarity with Power BI

  • High personal accountability for self and others and models Microsoft values

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent strongly recommended

  • Estimated up to 10-15% travel required (including international).
