GliaCell Technologies Principal Test Engineer (Automation, Bash) in Columbia, Maryland

GliaCell is currently seeking a Principal Test Engineer for a role on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.
Location: Columbia, MD
Responsible for manual testing (development and execution of regression tests to ensure functional system releases, investigating user issues to determine repeatable steps to reproduce, etc.).
Generate automated tests (test cases that will be executed within a continuous integration server to ensure parser functionality is working).
The SE will attend a scrum meeting each morning to report on progress, roadblocks, and what they expect to accomplish that day.
The SE is expected to interact with colleagues to share knowledge, ask questions, and support a team dynamic.
The individual must be able to communicate directions and provide guidance to junior engineers as required
14+ years of experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Bachelor?s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor?s degree
Experience with manual and automated testing.
Native OS scripting (Linux) / e.g., bash shell
Experience using Selenium and similar automated testing tools.
