Geek Squad Electronics/Appliances Repair Agent (1st Shift)

Our Repair Agent will perform high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances by addressing all unit symptoms and replacing/repairing defective parts as necessary. Communicate effectively and educate both internal co-workers and external Clients on product repairs.
Diagnoses products for repair
Contacts Clients with quote for repair and answer questions regarding cost, product installation and operation
Orders required parts to repair product
Installs parts and repair product
Completes routine functionality and quality testing on all products
Performs basic cleaning on all products
Partners with Team Assistant to manage the repair work-in-process (WIP) by researching escalated aging units, checking for parts issues/substitute and researching escalated service order issues
6 months diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and / or appliances
Able to stand/sit for long periods of time
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
Able to carry/lift/push/pull weight up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation
Consumer Electronics and / or Appliance Manufacture Repair Certification
Sealed System Certification applicable to Appliances
6 months using Best Buy’s Star and Smart Parts system, or other Parts Inventory System
Ability to multitask and have an attention to detail
