Utility Lines Construction Services, LLC is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their Civil/Foundation Construction Department. Our company performs work from North Carolina to Delaware. Our home office is located in Baltimore, Maryland but our clients are located in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Position Overview:

Civil Heavy Equipment Operator will be expected to operate equipment including but not limited to cranes (up to 65-ton RT, boom trucks, large drill rigs, excavators, lo-drills, bull dozers and backhoes. Willingness to travel is a must.

Essential Functions:

  • Operates small motorized equipment including but not limited to skid steers, mini-excavators, generators, tampers, concrete vibrators, and jackhammers.

  • Assist crew with daily work activities for installing concrete foundations and work aides used include chainsaws, hydraulic tools, and hand tools.

  • Works around hazardous equipment

  • Works near energized parts or equipment.

  • Exposed to traffic and may be required to have training on traffic flagging.

  • Works around excessive noise from machines (backhoes, trenchers, mini excavators, drill rigs, digger derricks, knuckle booms, jackhammers, and other equipment).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home.

  • Must be experienced in crane operations, drill rig operation, bull dozer, and other various types of equipment.

  • Must be able to operate the various tools for the work (various manual digging devices, wrenches, hammers, come a long and hand line etc.).

  • Commercial Driver’s License is preferred.

  • NCCCO certification is preferred.

  • Must be able to pass a background check, motor vehicle records check and a preemployment drug screen.
