As a Commercial Lines Administrator , you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties to support Commercial Lines Client Services; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Activity List as assigned in Agency Management System.

  • Process and maintain daily cancellations and reinstatements.

  • Assist CSR and/or Producer with cancellations, direct bill questions/problems, and direct bill reinstatements.

  • Prepares Proof of Insurance- Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Insurance, Auto ID Cards, FR19’s.

  • Print and mail or email auto ID cards and other documents as directed.

  • Download – pull new policies, renewals, endorsements, audits, recommendations and other non-pay cancellations or conditional renewal notices and other correspondence from carrier sites and assign them to the correct CSR.

  • Researches information and/or assists CSR and/or producer as requested.

  • Maintains a good understanding of various insurance carrier websites.

  • Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness as requested.

  • Assemble hardcopy of customer policies into binders as requested.

  • Maintains accurate documentation in Agency Management System.

  • Provides backup for Receptionist/Administrative Assistant as needed, Phones, Scanning, mail sort and cancellations.

  • Develops and demonstrates an awareness of personal responsibility in attaining efficient production level.

  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with co-workers, management, and company representatives.

  • Participates in seminars and classes to increase and improve knowledge and skills.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned including but not limited to endorsements, audits and direct bill payments.

  • Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

  • Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.

  • Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Agency’s compliance with all regulatory requirements.

  • Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Agency personnel.

  • Responds to inquiries relating to his/her area, or to requests from clients, other Agency personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in related position, preferred.

  • Proficient computer skills, especially with the Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Epic a plus.
