Lambert's Cable Splicing, LLC is an established utility contractor providing a variety of services to the telecommunications industry. These services include engineering, design, installation, and maintenance for all phases of inside and outside voice, video and data networks. We are currently recruiting for an Aerial Foreman for our Elkridge, MD location.
Lambert's Cable Splicing is seeking experienced, full-time Aerial Foreman for our Elkridge, MD location. Successful candidate must have knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions. . Candidate be able to pass a background check and drug screen. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefits package.
Install and repair aerial telephone cable
Repair cut or damaged telephone cables
Placement of telephone poles and anchors
Use of manual tools such as shovels, posthole diggers and other hand held tools
Use of mechanized equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators, etc
Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers
Flagging traffic when required
Special projects as assigned
Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
1-3 years previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications industry.
Valid driver's license.with no restrictions (CDL Class A preferred)
