Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems sector Life Cycle Sustainment Organization (LCSO) is seeking a Manager General Manufacturing 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Elkridge, Maryland.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Manager General Manufacturing will be:
Interface with personnel within the Life Cycle Sustainment Organization across a variety of functional teams, including Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Global Supply Chain, and Engineering
Represent the Shipping team in daily, weekly, and monthly status meetings that directly support program and organization shipping objectives
Lead the Shipping team in processing daily shipments for Sales Order Contractual Deliveries, Government Property Deliveries, International Deliveries, Material-to-Vendor and Return-to-Vendor, and non-inventory shipments
Manage employees in the various processes for shipping material and product, including maintaining accurate records from every shipment per Command Media processes
Manage the inventory and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment required to support the daily shipping operation
Coordinate with engineers, shippers, carton manufacturers, and carpenters for special crating and packing requirements
Support and assist a broad base of internal customers in resolving shipping-related issues and provide guidance on shipping processes
Maintain an audit-ready operation and lead SQDCM initiatives to achieve objectives
The chosen candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem solving skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.

- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, including related experience in transportation,
manufacturing, or supply chain (3 years with a Master's degree)
Minimum of 3 years of managerial or leadership experience
Proficiency with MS Office applications and SAP
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, including related experience in transportation, manufacturing, or supply chain
Experience with transportation management systems
Experience with international trade and export compliance
At least an Interim Secret clearance
