Kelly Services Facility Operations Manager in Frederick, Maryland

Kelly Services is seeking a Facility Operation Manager for our well-known client in the Pharmaceutical industry in Frederick MD. The ideal candidate will have Bachelor’s and a background in facilities or building operations. This is a 12-month contract role with a possibility of extension.

Duration: 12 months

Job Description

Oversee departmental activities regarding management of routine and non-routine activities at the Frederick Manufacturing facility in support Administration, GMP, and Manufacturing operations. This will also include management of outside services providers providing similar services..

Job Responsibilities

  • Management of planning and scheduling of tasks, projects, and purchasing activities

  • Management of functional quality records including Change Requests and Deviations

  • Manage and ensure support for internal and external audits

  • Management of external contractual obligations

  • Manage daily full-time staff and contracted staff and ensure training compliance

  • Negotiate contracts within scope of ownership

  • Manage costs to ensure alignment to operating budget

  • Providing timely and accurate reports to senior leadership as necessary

  • Ensure visual management tools are appropriately supported

  • Ensure all documentation from internal and externals services are “inspection ready”

  • Proficient in EDMS, TrackWise, LMS Databases, and other systems supporting function

  • Writing, revising, and reviewing SOPs

  • Enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

  • Ensure support of Risk Register reporting/tracking

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

  • A bachelor’s degree at minimum is a must.

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience

  • A background in facilities or building operations is highly preferred

  • Detail oriented and be able to complete any required (GxP) documentation

  • Proficient in computer skills and MS Office applications

  • Experience with TrackWise preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • Good organizational skills

  • Attending meetings as required
