    Contract Overview

    PEO EIS develops, acquires, and deploys tactical and non-tactical information technology systems and communications products and services. The organization is a center of excellence for systems acquisition, development, and integration of IT products and services. The purpose of this contract is to obtain various functional support services to augment the efforts of the existing workforce and enable the organization to keep pace with the rapid pace of customer acquisition requirements.

    Position General Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Business Financial Analyst in defining project objectives and strategic direction.

  • Direct the activities of more junior Business Financial Analysts, in the absence of the Senior Business Financial Analyst.

  • Prepare and assist with various financial activities, such as analyzing financial records, providing policy advice and assistance regarding financial transaction management (MIPRs), ledger maintenance, obligations plans and management, unliquidated obligations clearing, financial records research, review, and auditing, and invoicing.

  • Prepare and assist with various financial activities, such as analyzing financial records, vouchers, incoming invoices, receiving reports, claims, requisitions, and requests for payment.

  • Evaluate invoices for accuracy, process for payment after recording credits and charges, and transmits vouchers to DFAS ensuring payment meeting the provisions of the "Prompt Payment Act".

  • Assist budget personnel with Joint Review Process (JRP) by identifying and researching contracts that are fully billed and ready for closeout.

  • Provide advice and assistance to personnel, customers, and other stakeholders on various Financial Systems, such as: Standard Finance System (STANFINS), Resource Management Tool (RMT), Operational Data Store (ODS), as well as emerging Army business systems (General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), GFEBS-Sensitive Activities (SA), Army Contract Writing System (ACWS), etc.

    Position Qualifications

  • BA in related field, additional 6 years' experience in lue of a degree

  • Four (4) years of progressive experience providing financial management support for a broad array of Army financial matters, which includes all phases of the budget process (e.g., planning, programming, budgeting, and execution), as well as financial information systems.

  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Fundamentals of Business Financial Management (BCF 110)

  • DAU Fundamentals of Cost Analysis (BCF 130)

  • Army Learning Management System (ALMS) GFEBS Essentials Course

  • ALMS Financials Process Overview (GFEBS L210E)

  • TS/SCI Clearance
