Associate Lab Engineer

Associate Lab Engineer needed in the Analytical Development Group for a high growth client in Gaitherburg, MD. The Associate Lab Engineer would be assisting with the development of new methods, assist with technology transfer and assay validation activities and perform routine testing in support of in-process, release and stability testing. responsibilities:
Assist with assay development, assay technology transfer, assay validation and routine testing activities utilizing biological and biochemical based assays including, but not limited to, ELISA, protein concentration assays (A280, BCA, Bradford, SoloVPE), SDS-PAGE, immunoblotting, agarose gel electrophoresis, pH, Osmolality, Endotoxin, PCR, qPCR and RT-qPCR
Perform cell culture activities and cell-based bioassays including plaque assay, TCID50 and infectious unit assay.
Assist with and participate in 6S activities around maintenance of instrumentation and shared laboratory maintenance activities
Assist with generation and review of testing documentation such as test methods and standard operating procedures.
Maintain compliance with Good Documentation Practices to complete laboratory notebooks, logbooks and all documentation associated with laboratory testing.
Must have experience using the Waters Empower 3 software
qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 3 years of experience
Education: Bachelors
