Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and advance the Alexandria brand across a wide variety of applications from presentations and print collateral to digital and environmental graphics
Create and design high-quality and innovative marketing materials, including but not limited to tenant, investor, and internal presentations; brochures, ads, invitations, posters, and programs; financial charts and graphs and infographics; as well as signage, promotional items, and employee communications
Execute deliverables from concept through completion
Collaborate with senior leadership to create compelling presentations for our internal and external audiences
Coordinate marketing initiatives, branding and advertising efforts, strengthen brand awareness
Coordinate ARE presence at events such as trade shows, conferences, conventions, etc.
Act as point person to fulfill internal marketing communication requirements
Assist in writing, editing, and proofing of marketing materials
Maintain and enforce branding guidelines
Manage outside resources to execute various marketing projects
Help manage internal production needs and ensure that deadlines are satisfied, according to individual project schedules
Outstanding design and project management skills
Prepare weekly project status reports
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field preferred
Minimum of 10 years of proven, practical experience
Strong professional experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Keynote, Powerpoint, etc.
Understanding of design, layout and print production
Ability to efficiently and effectively change focus in a dynamic, flexible environment
Experience with Mac and PC platform
Strong writing and editorial skills
Ability to work independently with initiative and follow through is critical
Exceptional organizational skills (resources and prioritization)
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to work against and meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively across the entire company
Ability to think strategically, be self-starter, and execute on projects
