SAIC NASA Mission Customer Service Representative in GREENBELT, Maryland

Description

SAIC has an immediate need for a Mission Customer Service Representative to support the NASA Integrated Communications Services (NICS) contract at NASA's Goddard Spaceflight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. The NICS contract provides high quality integrated communications services for secure voice, video and data solutions and services to NASA customers worldwide. The candidate will provide dedicated support to NASA’s Mission Directorates for all communication requirements through planning, development, submittal of service requests, and decommission of services for Mission Projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively interface with civil servants and other functional areas within NASCOM to ensure that the Project Mission Customers’ request for services are successfully implemented

  • Support meetings and reviews, including preparation of schedules, agendas and charts, taking notes and promoting process improvements

  • Respond to and follow up Mission project customer inquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits as appropriate

  • Assist Mission project customers with coordinating the development of official agreements, including Interim Connectivity Agreement (ICA), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between NASCOM and our customers

  • Lead or participate in Process Improvement initiatives to increase efficiency in the development and delivery of NASCOM services

  • Participate in the NASCOM Mission Service Delivery Team and help identify areas of deficiencies to enhance customer service

  • Maintaining awareness of service delivery effectiveness, operational performance and customer satisfaction with service

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must have a working knowledge of telecommunication services and technologies and at least 2 years of experience

  • Customer service management experience

  • A BA/BS in a related field is required

Skills:

  • Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work well with others

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Desired Skills / Experiences:

  • Previous employment at Goddard Space Flight Center or other NASA Center

Desired Certifications / Training:

  • ITIL
