CACI International Electrical Engineer Development Intern - Summer 2021 in Hanover, Maryland
CACI is looking for a Electrical Engineer Development Intern for this Summer. You will be supporting the US Army in research and development activities that relate to sensors that operate from high frequency to millimeter-wave.
What You'll Get to Do
Apply interdisciplinary engineering skills in technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products.
Work with a diverse set of contractors and customer personnel using strong interpersonal skills to contribute to the assessment, integration, testing, and fielding of wide-raging technologies and advanced concepts. Track, manage and resolve technical issues.
Perform at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
Recommend design approaches to meet requirements for new or improved products or processes.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Familiarity with engineering analysis tools such as Matlab or Spice
Strong background in engineering and science
Strong analytical skills
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience drafting in CAD
If Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Science and Technology or related field is preferred not required
Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities,interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
