SSI needs to add an experienced Logistician to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy.
This position is established in support of the A ir-to-Air Missile Systems Program Office , PMA-259, and your duties will include ILS support for the AIM-9X IPT .
PMA-259 is responsible for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of air-to-air missile systems .
Your key duties and responsibilities:
Responsible to the APML/DAPML in providing technical and administrative assistance regarding logistics topics, issues and concerns
Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information
Assists in the development and periodic updates of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents such as; Design Interface/ Maintenance Plan (DI/MP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Plan, Naval Training Systems Plan, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) Plan and Logistics Requirements Funding Summary (LRFS)
Assists in the development of contract Statements Of Work (SOW) and Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) for the development, production and sustainment of the weapons system
Provide analysis of spares requirements to support and sustain the weapons system
Assisting with the development and evaluation of integrated support requirements for new/system improvement acquisition.
Reviewing logistics deliverables, such as provisioning data, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures for conformance to policy and procedures
Review of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other change documentation to address ILS impacts
Entering and retrieving data from following modules:
All Weapons Information System (AWIS)
All Weapons Analysis and Reporting System (AWARS)
Automated Captive Carry Entry System (ACES)
Common Munitions Built-In-Test Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE)
Deficiency Reporting System (DRWeb)
New Production Deliveries System (NPDS)
Non-Combat Expenditure Allocations (NCEA)
Optimized Performance Model (OPOM)
Education: BS or BA degree Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering. A minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis as well as experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems or equipment, both air vehicle and avionics.
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Society of Logistics Engineers (SOLE) Logistician certification program as a Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) plus three (3) additional years of recent experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering.
