VectorCSP is looking for an experienced Logistics Analyst, Journeyman (NAVAIR - METCAL) to work in the Pax River, MD area.

Job Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate the logistics or maintenance support analysis IAW the requirements of the NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) program.

Requirements:

  • Secret Security Clearance

Education and Experience:

  • BA or BS degree in relevant field such as Logistics Management, Business, Engineering or Management; more than 3 years' experience supporting the operational logistics, maintenance, and/or engineering of complex platforms/systems

  • An additional six (6) years of relevant experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree

  • An additional four (4) years of relevant experience and an Associates degree in a relevant field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree

  • Experience with the NAVAIR Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) calibration related support is desired

  • Experience/knowledge of NAVAIR calibration standards and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) is desired

Essential Duties:

  • Support analysis and coordination of ongoing logistical support functions

  • Support entire life-cycle of product/platform/system including acquisition, fielding, all life-cycle sustainment plan activities and development

  • Communicate effectively with customer and senior leadership to ensure on-time, quality delivery of all aspects of program

  • Manage logistics and maintenance related analysis; review detailed information and provide thoughtful recommendations on path forward to customers

  • Provide support and participate in the preparation, coordination, operation, and post evaluation of Integrated Product Support Teams, Readiness Improvement Program Reviews, Integrated Product Team (IPT), Maintenance Engineering or Logistics reviews and other technical and logistics meetings.

Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:

  • Experience with aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability

  • Experience in initiating and maintaining technical direction within broad program objectives directly related to aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability

  • Knowledgeable of acquisition policies and procedures; demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the DOD 5000 series.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management.

  • Knowledgeable of NAVAIR logistics and maintainability programs and processes

  • Ability to write technically

  • Ability to work within a team and solve problems collectively

  • Ability to communicate at all levels of command chain
