Lockheed Martin Training Knowledge Manager in Linthicum, Maryland

Description: This position is located at the DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) in Linthicum, MD and assigned to Mission Customer Division (MSD) in the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Collaborative Information Sharing Environment (DCISE). MSD executes functional areas including internal/external customer services, outreach, operational metrics, process improvement, quality assurance, quality control, and organizational training. This candidate will work closely with DCISE Leadership to evaluate the current mission training needs and identify comprehensive training plans for each function in the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree.

•Advanced understanding of the methods used to analyze and identify the training needs of an organization and the workforce

•Experience developing, scheduling, presenting, and recording training presentations

•Experience with and/or basic fluency in cyber security or information technology

•Experience performing administrative duties to support orientation and onboarding activities

Desired Skills:

•Familiar with current cyber security training programs, trends, and best practices

•Familiar with career development maps

•Knowledge of OPM, DoD and AF policies, procedures, and regulations governing training

•Familiarity with process improvement models and best practices such as CMMI for Services

•Demonstrated experience assessing organization’s training program performance to ensure that training is effective and meeting desired goals and expected outcomes

•Demonstrated experience developing individualized and group training programs that address specific mission needs and opportunities for improvement

•Demonstrated experience developing and implementing long-term strategic training program(s) and curriculum that directly support the mission’s organizational goals

•Demonstrated experience selecting and managing training resources including collaborating with the workforce and vendors to develop and deliver training

•Knowledge management experience to strengthen the organization’s systems used to share information

•Ability to design and conduct training surveys and preparing solutions to resolve substantive problems and issues in the organizations training effectiveness and efficiency

•Experience effectively engaging, interacting, and collaborating at all levels of an organization

•Demonstrated experience maintaining SharePoint training records database

•Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing on complex taskers and maintain strong working relationships
