Latitude, Inc. Financial Analyst in Pikesville, Maryland

The Financial Analyst position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of business performance. This FP&A function is a very visible role and such, we are looking for an intelligent, motivated, detail-oriented financial analyst who can add immediate impact to the company. The role provides challenge, variety and reward, and will generally require a significant time-commitment beyond normal business hours to ensure a quality output.

Responsibilities:

  • Support decision-making and strategic planning activities, serve as a key resource to senior decision-makers in the business

  • Prepare and maintain in-depth analysis, modeling, monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and reporting of financial and business performance to support company-wide financial and operational goals and initiatives

  • Generate accurate and timely financial statements and reporting packages as required, including monthly P&Ls and G/L detail, for senior management and Board of Directors

  • Assist with the preparation and calculation of monthly commission accruals and quarterly payments

  • Assist with extracting data from ERP and CRM software systems to validate and scrub for accuracy

  • Assist with end of month financial close variance review (forecast vs. actual), as well as financial and operational metric reporting

  • Assist with the preparation of presentations (internal and external) of financial and operational business results and analysis

  • Other financial and operational analysis and duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 1-3 years of financial analyst experience, telecommunications industry knowledge/experience preferred, but not required

  • Experience with NetSuite, SQL, Tableau software a plus

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
